Behaviour & Attitudes
Larry Ryan has been with Behaviour & Attitudes since 1997 and a shareholder/partner since 2000. He is the company’s representative to IriS and served for 10 years as a Council member. He works on qualitative and quantitative projects and has a particular focus on communications, media, healthcare and medical research. Prior to Behaviour & Attitudes he was Research & Planning Manager at Guinness in Dublin, having started his career at two other Irish research agencies.
Behaviour & Attitudes is Ireland’s largest independent marketing research agency, and will be 30 years old next year. It handles an even mix of qualitative and quantitative projects and its nine Directors all moderate focus groups and most work on quantitative studies too.
B&A will host the Fall 2015 Irish meeting in Dublin, which has been chosen as the location of the ESOMAR Congress.
Behaviour & Attitudes runs the establishment survey for Irish Television Audience Measurement (TAM) on behalf of Nielsen, involving 8,000 random probability interviews per annum. It also runs the Irish Longitudinal Study on Aging (for the State) and fieldwork on the EC Eurobarometer in Ireland. It runs 24 face-to-face omnibus surveys (each of 1,000) and 12 telephone omnibuses (each of 1,000). In-house CATI facilities, with 32 stations, and focus group viewing facilities. The company runs about 600 projects a year and has a significant Island of Ireland internet panel.
